Hmm.
So what does one talk about when you have only like an hour left with someone? I don’t want to get it wrong. He can’t talk back to me. This seems like something I really want to make sure I don’t have regrets about. And since I have the rare opportunity to plan for it, I figure I should throw it out there and get some suggestions.
Anyone have any ideas?? I’m guessing my plans for the summer are out of line.

i think you tell him that you love him and that you will never forget him. and then maybe talk about some of the good memories that you have together. you could hold his hand and just be quiet and be present. if all else fails, i’m sure that will comfort him and it’s the subtle things like that, that end up meaning the most. i’m sad for you. enjoy your time with your grandfather.
I agree with Riceroni. Talk about your most cherished memories with him. Tell him how much you have appreciated having him in your life. Hold his hand and tell him you love him.
Tell him how much you love him. Maybe talk about some of the wonderful memories you have with him. Just holding his hand and being there with him to say you love him will mean so much to him.
Just tell him that you love him and you’ll miss him- that’s what counts.
