Ever have one of those days where you just feel yucky and want to put your yummy pj’s back on?  Of course you have.  You’re alive (I think).  I’m having one of those days.  I think its because I have had so many days off with this holiday weekend that I’m not used to getting up and going to work.  O how quickly we forget routine.  I’m like a little kid that got thrown off my schedule and now I’m just cranky.  Since I’m not a mom, I have no idea how they get their kids back on track.  Let’s all just hope I regulate out soon.  Moms out there, now is a good time to speak up with advice for the babyless crank.

Christmas.  I want so badly to go full force into this holiday.  I’m ready for it.  Thanksgiving was lovely (with the slight exception of all of this) and I attribute a lot of its lovelyness to our new family restrictions.  We didn’t participate in the drama, nor did we feel any urge to be filled in on it.  It was fantastic.  I am really looking forward to a Christmas filled with the same nothingness and all the goodies of a stable, healthy, household.  I kind of went into Thanksgiving this year with a slightly wobbly footing because I wasn’t exactly sure how it would all go down.  Now that I know it is our new, preferred way of handling things, I’m like a bullet train to Christmas.  Hold on tight cause this ride isn’t slowin down for anyone.  Well, maybe for the house fairy that wants to grant me one wish.  Or wait, maybe the baby fairy…o who are we kidding here, the baby fairy lost my address years ago.
Am I projecting all my baby and house needs into a new form of attainable goals?  Fuck yeah!  Do I care?  Since when have I ever?
