Ladies & Gentleman, please gather around. The tour is about to begin…

If I can turn your attention to the family room to your right. Notice the precisely manicured mail trimmings scattered across the timeless area rug from 21st Century period. The craftsmanship of each paper nugget has been meticulously carved into shape with the honed teeth of this priceless animal found sleeping at the front of the room. With each shaping, the animal must use more then 15% of its stored energy. As you can see there are at least 3 or 4 dozen individual pieces that have been produced in this session. While the dog sleeps, she will be building up her reserves so that she may continue with the relentless task of reshaping and scattering all of the mail. With deliveries of more mail to reshape coming in daily, this is truly a site to behold. We are so lucky to have witnessed her in her natural habitat at the family room opening. In nature, we almost never get the opportunity to observe such a creature while sleeping. She seems so calm and unaware of our presence, but do not be fooled. If any one of us was to make a sudden move, her untamed animalistic tendencies would spark a full blown rage….

I laughed so hard…because I *JUST* finished pickin up the same thing from my TWO dogs.

    And do they care?

they have each chosen a couch, made sure they have a pillow for their heads (because the floor just won’t do), and are restoring their strength for another round.

To answer ilissa, Sandy is 1.75 years old. she’s still very much a pup and shows no signs of slowing down. keeping up with her is a HUGE task but at least she leaves me funny little messages like this one…I wonder what she is trying to say in her native language….is it “Mom the mail came!!!” or “mommy!! mommy! mommy!! mommy! look what i can do!!!!!”….I’m having it translated. They said it takes a few years. I’ll keep you all posted.

We have a blond lab too… She went through a dresser and a table and chairs. We like her a little bit though. Yours is gorgeous!
